So today I was HORRIFIED to find out that Amy Keating Rodgers (The Writer of the Last Roundup along with a fuckton of other amasing episodes) had been receiving hate mail for the portrayal of Derpy and her being ‘albiest’.

….Now, people are entitled to their own opinions, this is wrong. It irks me to see people putting down somebody who’s made so many great episodes because of how they potrayed a gift to the community.

A gift a large amount of the community adored. And I refuse to let this get this hate get the best of her.

So Bronies, for all those who loved Derpy and her appearence in the episode, I ask you only one thing:

How dare they send her hate mail. Sure your allowed to groan and whine about it, but you DO NOT send her hatemail for what she did. It is completely out of line. None of us would dare do the same thing to Lauren Faust or anyone else on the team, whoever sent those emails are fucking disgraceful.

In the end, at least Hasbro showed that they cared about us enough to make one of our characters legitmately canon in the show, stop being so fussy about how she acts and show respect for what they did.
